Remote Site and Oil and Gas Power

Remote operations rarely have a utility substation next door. Oil and gas production, processing and pipeline sites, mines and construction camps often sit where grid service is limited, slow to extend or too expensive to build. Aegis Power Solutions develops, finances and manages onsite and mobile power sized to your load, your schedule and the fuel you already have.

WHAT WE BUILD

Mobile gas turbine power: trailer-mounted units that can be connected quickly and relocated when the project ends.

Natural gas generation: reciprocating gensets running on field gas or pipeline supply.

Hybrid systems: generation paired with batteries and solar to cut fuel use and smooth sharp starting loads.

Microgrids for camps and processing sites that need reliable, islanded power.

HOW WE APPROACH THE ECONOMICS

We compare the cost of onsite power against grid extension, delivered fuel and rental fleets over the life of the site. Operating hours, fuel cost, redundancy and downtime value drive the design. Short projects point to mobile or rental units, long-lived sites to permanent plants with a financing structure behind them.

QUESTIONS WE HEAR

How quickly can mobile power be on site? Mobile units can be in service far faster than a grid extension. Timing depends on equipment availability, site preparation and permitting, and we give you a site-specific schedule up front.

Can you run on our field gas? Often, yes. Gas quality and volume determine the equipment, and we assess both before recommending a design.

Who handles permitting and emissions requirements? We coordinate the development path, including air permitting, with your team involved at each decision point.
